This represents Chad's first foray into downtempo mix. He puts together a nearly 80 minute mix of downtempo, atmospheric music with a constant groove.

Opendex is musical experiment located in Los Angeles that is doing something a little different. Most DJs lug crates of records from club to club, spinning only one genre of music because they are limited by what they can carry and performing basic mixes because they are limited by the equipment at the venue. Opendex overcomes those limitations with the use of technology--we mix vinyl and digital music using sophisticated computer tools like Final Scratch, Traktor, Live and Reason. This results in our ability to play any genre of music at any type of venue. We use vinyl, digital sounds, and samples to perform layered transitions and live remixes. We also incorporate our own musical productions. It is something different and refreshing; we hope you enjoy it.
